Spike's Bitches 38: Well, This Is Just...Neat.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Coffee with allergy pills:

BTW, I will be in NYC for sure Nov. 15-18th for the ginormous NCTE conference. Kristin, I am assuming your mean school is NOT letting you go?

Anyhoo, I would love to meet up with people, probably in the evening after the seminars are over.

E-me at profile addy!

Erin, you must not have seen my posts a few weeks back to you. Yeah, the school said no. Hope you have fun, though!

I have more to respond to but need to be on my laptop and not the crackberry in order to do so.

Aw, I did miss those! I am bummed; we could have caused some serious damage!

One of my good girlfriends scans exactly like this, but unfortunately, her fiancée would view being with a girl as cheating. She loves him, but sometimes she just wants to be with a woman so badly. I wish her fiancée could switch over to ND’s view. *le sigh*

what kind of straight guy won't consider a girl girl boy threesome? what is the world coming to??!?!

My ex-husband, for one. One of the reasons that the marriage couldn't have worked without damage on both sides.

The insecure kind. Plus, this is kind of the worst stance to try to meet girls from. "My boy friend will be OK with it if he can join in." These kind of couples outnumber girls to the extent that the single-bi-female is often referred to as The Holy Grail. It's another reason I despair of dating right now.

Thanks Chikat and Susan. Much appreciated.

X-posty with Kristin: some guys aren't insecure, just very very monogamous. The idea of the one they love being with someone else is unacceptable to them.

He's not very sexual. Which is the weakest part of their relationship, IMHO, because she is extremely sexual. I like him, I think he's a good match for her in many ways, but...I have reservations about the long-term viability of their relationship on this level.

Not, I hasten to add, because I see sex as the end-all and be-all of a relationship, but because I know when one person attaches importance to a thing as part of their general life satisfaction and happiness and health, and the other person doesn't or can't, it can lead to frustration and imbalance. Whether this thing be sexual fulfillment, or religious faith, or...um...cilantro.

Wow, that's eerie. I had this exact conversation with someone before I got married. Also, DexH was definitely mainly very monogamous rather than insecure.

Anyway. In the past.

Laga, did you see Fay's question to you? I'm sure you were using the plural/general "you," right?
