The only way I can see more than one person at a time is if things haven't gotten serious.
Totally. I could get busy for days with different people, but toss the big emotions in there and that's a big hell to the fuck no.
'Objects In Space'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Plus, I'm WAY WAY WAY too insecure about the one relationship I have. If there were other relationships involved, I'd explode
That would be me. Although I have NO problems letting other people tie up and then inflict pain on my BF, which I guess could be seen as a type of poly, at least in action if not in relationship-ness.
Which is a whole other kettle of kinky fish.
kinky fish
Now I have an imageof a sturgeon in full domanatrix gear yelling, "I said SPAWN, you measley little egg!"
I think the point where my brain is getting stuck is, "I still haven't found one person who I want to be in a relationship with and who wants to be in a relationship with me, and the process of trying to find someone totally sucks, and there are people who do this multiple times?"

Hil is me.

Share, people! Stop hogging all the goodies!
I knew that I was in love with my friends before I knew there was a word for it. I'm still in love with a few of those friends so I'm poly. I'm not actively trying to date more than one person. Frankly finding one new person to date is daunting to me right now. And yeah, it means the whole dating thing, then if we realize there's a connection it's important to me that we both get STD tested before anything sexual happens. Finding a new partner is a long and arduous process. sigh

I do share! It's you mono people who keep robbing the poly pool. I've lost two loves to monogamous people already.

Uh-huh.
Plus the whole "middle age and yet to have a serious relationship" thing can be a tad depressing....
