I wanna hurt you, but I can't resist the sinister attraction of your cold and muscular body!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Who is faxing from Kansas at three in the morning anyway?

The Midnight Faxer What Faxes at Midnight?

Who I guess lives on West coast time?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hah!

Thinking it over more rationally, it probably was more like 5:00 here. Which would have been 7:00 there, right? So that's not entirely unreasonable.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I hate when I do this to myself. I end up staying up all night because I know I have to do laundry before going to work, and I also know I have to get into work (relatively) early to get things done, and now I'm sipping the huge cup of White Hen coffee I picked up on the way in, debating if I should e-mail my boss and see if I can go home after a half-day. What I should have done was do my laundry last night and then get to bed early, but noooooo...

IOW, gronklies.

Oh, and Happy Belated Birthday, aurelia!!

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I'm up and moving, sort of. But so tired that I can barely focus. In fact, I took a 15 minute nap in my car after I got to school.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Happy day after your birthday, aurelia!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I can't believe the Red Sox swept in the World Series. That's so crazy!!

End times, man.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Happy birthday, aurelia!

Wait. Black pudding isn't pudding? It's blood? Oh, ew.

Today has not started out well. I'm behind on two projects, and really need to spend this week catching up, and now I'm informed that my participation is critical in a series of all-day meetings lasting for three days this week. WTF? You guys knew about this three months ago and today you're telling me about it? Well, fine. Let's see who I can get to do my work for me.

Welcome to Monday, Buffistae! Hope yours is better than mine.
