I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Happy day after your birthday, aurelia!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I can't believe the Red Sox swept in the World Series. That's so crazy!!

End times, man.

I wish I knew what I wanted to be when I grew up.

Signed,

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Happy birthday, aurelia!

Wait. Black pudding isn't pudding? It's blood? Oh, ew.

Today has not started out well. I'm behind on two projects, and really need to spend this week catching up, and now I'm informed that my participation is critical in a series of all-day meetings lasting for three days this week. WTF? You guys knew about this three months ago and today you're telling me about it? Well, fine. Let's see who I can get to do my work for me.

Welcome to Monday, Buffistae! Hope yours is better than mine.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

shrift, unfortunately everything I want to be and everything I have skills for does not pay particularly well. It's a bummer.

Which is my way of saying, good luck.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You guys knew about this three months ago and today you're telling me about it? Well, fine.

Good lord.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

ION, I think I need one of these. I love Eli the seltzer man, but we've been getting more and more dud bottles from him lately. Plus there's the carrying 10 glass bottles of seltzer up 4 flights of stairs every week.

Jess, are we reading the same blogs? Because just last week I read about the seltzer machine, and since I have an addiction to seltzer (I buy 4-5 two-liter bottles a week), I am SO buying one of those machines.

What's the compensation on that?

Yeah, it only takes about an hour searching Craigslist to convince me that I have no marketable skills.
