In sucky news, Phil Frank who did the local Farley comic strip in the San Francisco Chronicle died of a brain tumor. (He also drew Elderberries.)
He had been a nationally syndicated cartoonist and then decided to just do a strip locally some thirty years ago, and it was such a part of the local experience. Just like that, we lose that big cast of characters. Feels weird and sad.

I am cleaning things up in this office preparatory to my leaving. The person who worked in this office before I did was a temp. I know, because her timesheets are here. As are documents with her social security number, address, and birthdate. I could completely identity fraud her.
