Yay! Time to go home. A student gave me an old Playstation 1 memory card, and the Good Ex of the East gave me the Playstation I bought him/us eons ago, so tonight is Final Fantasy VII night!

I'm sure it'll live up to my memory of it. Right?

...after I go fix attendance. I just realized I marked a kid absent who was actually here. He's just so quiet... You'd have thought attendance would be the easiest part of this job, wouldn't you?

Always Anti-fascist!

Pizzeria Uno is very awesome. Lots of inventive ingredients, but not quite to "Eat a Muffin, Whitey," degrees. I didn't know they started out as ours, though. I have so little civic pride, I thought they came from Cali first. We really do have an inferiority complex here. Dare me to send Orally a basket with "Eat a Muffin Whitey!" on the card?(I can put a loofah in too.)

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

You can't fling a dead cat in this city without hitting excellent Italian but Mexican is, strangely, impossible. LA arguably has much more ethnic variety.

We didn't have that many Mexican people until recently. There are a few Mexican neighborhoods now and you can get good food in them.

I don't know LA's ethnic variety... but really? Uzbekestani Kosher food can be gotten in New York. Eastern Europe is well covered, Asia, lots of Africa, more and more South American. We have a lot of people from a lot of places and they all seem to want to sell me food.

I think Grimaldi's is overrated, but there are several other institutions in Brooklyn, like Di Fara's, Franny's and Totonno's.

Hmm... then you get the thin crust/thick crust factor in there. (Personally: thin when eating in, thick when taking out)

OPINION! Deep dish pizza isn't pizza, it's casserole. Or some kind of savory pie. Not pizza.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I dunno, but they do take out. It's Giovanni's on Venice and Clarington.

I will make a note. They deliver for $2

not your mom's socks.

lisah - matthew's is worth the trip - crab pizza! as long as you don't mind your beer in a can, and a choice between bud and bud light.

still trying to get someone to sample the mac&cheese pizza at BOP.

I need to go to Bed, Bath & Beyond to buy pillows. We have extra sheets and blankets, but apparently no pillows. I suppose I'll also need to feed, hydrate, and intoxicate my family, as well. And maybe put some money on some leftover CTA cards I have. Possibly I am overthinking this.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

then you get the thin crust/thick crust factor in there.

There is no thick/thin crust factor. There is only thin.

Heh. I was waiting for that. Kerfauxffle time!

Tom Scola, my brother.

sox, I've heard from many quarters that Matthew's is worth the trip. I should actually get there for lunch some time since it's way closer to here than home.

And I do not mind beer in a can as long as it's Natty Boh (if we're talking domestic). Signed, Cheap Beer Snob.
