The last designed one she tried on...well, whichever had soft pink and the v-neck--that one said hot wedding guest to me.

She looked fab in that one.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

According to the Wikipedia entry, coconut crabs are a delicacy. You probably need a really REALLY big pot to boil them in, though, and an industrial strength lid to keep them in it....

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I just came home to my own "some people are idiots" story. One of the people who live on the first floor od my building likes to let her cat out to walk around the apartment complex, which would be fine, except we have one or two feral cats around, which would still be fine, except she and her mother in law decided to see if the feral and her cat would get along. Luckily I came walking up from the garage just then, and I was carrying a grocery bag I used to divert the feral who was chasing the other cat.

I then had to stop the MIL from trying to pet the feral cat, even though every single piece of fur along its back was standing straight up and it was hissing at all of us.

It's a good thing for her I'm nice, or at least that I don't like the sight of blood.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Did a little bit of work. Not sure why.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Finally one link of ita's that didn't freak me the fuck out. But only because I've seen pictures of coconut crabs before when I worked for The Nature Conservancy. TNC administered the island of Palmyra and I saw lots of pictures of them when we bought the island.

Thrive to spite them

There was some show on National Geographic channel I think about Palmyra and other islands like it, I forget the name, but it featured the coconut crabs.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Hee. I was thinking "finally a link of ita's that totally rocked!"

Christmas Island, of course, is home to an annual migration of some 60 million red land crabs: [link] Imagine it with fully grown coconut crabs!

And you probably could! Possibly from space!

Sneeze all you want, tiggy, you'll make more. I'm having mucous issues of my own--stupid virus that won't die.

I checked TNC's Palmyra page. They have a good shot of a coconut crab but nothing to set the scale like the picture ita linked to. That's what really freaks people out.

Now, billytea's link freaked me the fuck out.
