Oh, yeah. There was this time I was pinned down by this guy that played left tackle for varsity... Well, at least he used to before he was a vampire... Anyway, he had this really, really thick neck, and all I had was a little, little Exact-O knife ... You're not loving this story.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Finally one link of ita's that didn't freak me the fuck out.

Hee. I was thinking "finally a link of ita's that totally rocked!"

Christmas Island, of course, is home to an annual migration of some 60 million red land crabs: [link] Imagine it with fully grown coconut crabs!

And you probably could! Possibly from space!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Sneeze all you want, tiggy, you'll make more. I'm having mucous issues of my own--stupid virus that won't die.

I checked TNC's Palmyra page. They have a good shot of a coconut crab but nothing to set the scale like the picture ita linked to. That's what really freaks people out.

Now, billytea's link freaked me the fuck out.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Now, billytea's link freaked me the fuck out.

That's totally mad.

I love all the babies making the trip back into the hinterland.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

My turn to make dinner.

Steaks on the grill, green salad, steamed asparagus (with lemon on the side), sauteed portobello mushrooms with garlic and onion (in case anyone wants it on their steak, and baked apples for dessert.

Unsure how the apples will turn out, my oven is broken. So I cut them up, put them in tin foil packets with brown sugar, a squirt of lemon, a couple pats of butter, cinnamon, and a pinch of nutmeg. I have no idea if they'll cook through on the grill while we eat. But then they'll at least be sort of crunchy apples with sauce.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I had a steak! With brussels sprouts and a twice-baked potato. Yummers.

You're welcome to come to dinner, sarameg.
