I have IKEAd and Targetted and Safewayed. I now have actual pretty covers for some crappy-stuffing-bleeding pilows. Slightly cheaper than just buying new pillows.

My brother called me at 11:30 again. Again, we talked until 2 and I plead exhaustion. What did we talk about? Well, at one point, we got into a heated debate over whether green was an appropriate car color. He very strongly feels this is wrong and bad. I think I laughed myself sick last night. He may be staying in Alabama for post-doc. We'll see.

We find the weirdest shit to talk about.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I tried to go to Lord & Taylor to get a wedding gift, and turns out they don't have housewares! WTF? I did get a great dress 40% off, though. I also got an awesome Banana Republic wrap dress, totally copying lisah.

Green is the one true car color. Or you know, it looks good.

I went to Lucy and bought lots and lots of great clothes! Or you know, some yoga pants and a skirt.

I really need new clothes. Some of my stuff is worn. But the thought of shopping ...eaarhg.

The radio station went off air (or the feed got screwed up) and for the last 10 minutes, it's been thumping once a second. I've been outside and hadn't noticed but after 2 minutes, I had to turn it off. It was making me anxious.

Heh.

When I was in Target, there was a young woman in the pets aisle looking completely and utterly lost. When she saw I was getting catfood, she pounced. "You have a cat?"
"Yeeeesss, two?"
"There are too many choices! I just got this cat and I don't know if she likes chicken or whitefish or salmon and that one just looks gross and they said science something and it isn't here and I can't imagine she's like it and I JUST DON'T KNOW."
"Um, ok. Is it a kitten still?"
"Yeah, still got growing to do."
"Um, ok, I buy this stuff. It's a little more expensive, but I've been feeding my cat this stuff for 10 years and she likes it. Get the kitten kind until she's a year or two or ask the vet.OK?"

She hugged me.

It was rather hilarious. She was so worried about what to feed that cat.

Widsom for the ages from What Not To Wear: Clinton says "Do you want to move forward, or do you want to stay stuck??" and the contributor answers, "BOTH."

Now tagless for your comfort.

sara, I had the exact same thing happen to me in the baby formula aisle once. Except for the part about chicken, whitefish or salmon.

That reminds me of the overheard from the pharmacy today.

"What has more omega-3? Salmon oil or fish oil?"
"You know that salmon is fish, right?"
"Yeah."
t meaningful silence "So which has more omega-3 then?"
