Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

All I can say is don't name a cat Joss if you don't want him to CONSTANTLY BITE YOU. Darned vampire mentality.

Yay, Robin! That sounds like an absolutely lovely evening.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

How about Orson?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Joss would have to be, like, a blonde-ish cat. My brain is a strange place.

Laga, My first thought was "Scott Card", which puts it in the "yeah, but no" pile. Which is, of course, better than the "Oh, Hello, no" pile: current location of pretty much all "traditional black cat names".

My mind is all awhirl. Last night I had a good long chat with The One That Got Away. I had long ago decided those grapes were sour anyway because even before she'd gotten into a committed monogamous relationship she'd told me she never wanted to live in California and right now this is where my whole family is so, much as I dislike the place, this is where I want to be. Well last night she told me she thinks she's made a big mistake and maybe she should have moved out here with me. Gah! I'm trying to be the supportive friend and suggesting counseling because she takes the commitment she's made very seriously. What I really want to say is, "come here now!"

ita, if you need anything, I can drop it by. You know, since you and Grace are in the same place (I think) currently, I could do that and see my kid.

Today's been beautifully rainy. I love days like this. Let it rain. Let it rain. Let it rain!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I am almost Grace's roomie. I wonder if they'd let me drag my IV down a few floors.

In terms of need, whatsisname has me covered, but if you're in my neck of the woods before I leave, say hi. There will be a text to you in a sec.

Burrell, the Borders at Century City let my sister and me have a teacher's discount in March, so give them a shot.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I love the rain as well. The kids spent a fair amount of the afternoon playing in the rain and the mud.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

ita, when are you going to get to go home?

It rained up here too!

It was nice, and we needed it a lot.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

My fast went relatively easily. Broke the fast at the house of a friend of G's mom. There was a friendly Pomeranian there who decided I has a flavor.

If they have your IV on a pole, they probably would let you go awandering with it. If I had known you were there this morning when K and I were there, we would have sent you even warmer thoughts than usual, and maybe would have forked over trashy magazines.

Are you leaving tomorrow AM? I'll check text as soon as I can drag my ass out of bed. I'm cuddling up with a Medical application.
