I am almost Grace's roomie. I wonder if they'd let me drag my IV down a few floors.
In terms of need, whatsisname has me covered, but if you're in my neck of the woods before I leave, say hi. There will be a text to you in a sec.
Burrell, the Borders at Century City let my sister and
me
have a teacher's discount in March, so give them a shot.
I love the rain as well. The kids spent a fair amount of the afternoon playing in the rain and the mud.
ita, when are you going to get to go home?
It rained up here too!
It was nice, and we needed it a lot.
Timelies all!
My fast went relatively easily. Broke the fast at the house of a friend of G's mom. There was a friendly Pomeranian there who decided I has a flavor.
If they have your IV on a pole, they probably would let you go awandering with it. If I had known you were there this morning when K and I were there, we would have sent you even warmer thoughts than usual, and maybe would have forked over trashy magazines.
Are you leaving tomorrow AM? I'll check text as soon as I can drag my ass out of bed. I'm cuddling up with a Medical application.
Student to friend: Holy crap! Passover just saved my ass!
Hee! Reminds me of my 8th grade biology final, which I totally forgot to study for and would have failed big time if it wasn't for the fact that, before class started, about 1/4 of the class went up to the teacher and told him that, as members of the chorus, they were all going to have to leave 20 minutes later to go to a performance. He got so pissed that he completely canceled the final (foetal pig all cut open wide, and we were going to have to identify all the organs) and based our grade on our score up to that point. Yay for an undeserved A!
Has anyone here used ComicLife? I'm thinking of using it for a class. It's kinda cool... but.... hmm.....
Also fun, Comic Creator. Not as fun as the one we were all using (which one was that?) a bit back, but more friendly to kids stuff.
Love me some ComicLife. The kids I had in class last year seemed to do alright with it, and we're talking 5th graders (the ones who used it a lot were, anyway)
My Joss is a Bengal, I think. With overly-healthy teeth and claws.
I really desperately want a new book. What teacher wants to buy me a discounted romance novel? Tell the cashier that it's for the children. I am quite capable of looking 14 if that's necessary.
Alibelle, I will bring in some of the books we are getting rid of on Monday. Don't think there are any romance novels, but maybe youi'll find sometthing to interest you. And you can't beat the price!
