What I did like about that little scene between Gibbs and Tony was Tony admitting he was getting just a little too old for the frat boy antics. Seriously, it was funny 7 years ago, now, NSM. More character growth, writers! We wants it.

I think that is one of the reasons Gibbs is so hard on Tony. He knows there is more to Tony than the goofiness, but before Tony worked for Gibbs he flitted about from one police department to another with no real purpose to his life. He needs someone to expect better from him.
