We're still working on a plan, but so far it involves being sent to prison and becoming somebody's bitch.

Always Anti-fascist!

I thought it was interesting that MCH could play the difference between"repressed emotions"(David Fisher) and "Absence of emotion" like Dexter.(and, yes Angel Baptista was a good police detective.) Yeah, Aurelia.

Because books.

Oh, I think it does when you adjust for context. Same goes for AHS and Glee.

But on Wonderfalls and those shows, the cast is on it, too, not just the audience. Although I guess Hannibal has a twisted sense of humor, and Will is sort of developing one.

Come on! The hats! When will we ever see such splendid hatdom again.

The wardrobe was great. The plot arc devolved into something completely campy and absurd, and I don't think it ended up making any sort of point about anything, except to maybe show off Ryan Murphy's mommy issues. I was disappointed because I would have loved to see some real commentary about women and power, and instead I got a giant bitch fight with dicey racial commentary.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

He literally got away with murder. Not to mention kidnapping and torture. So no reason for the show get realistic about consequences now. Even though I expected, I'm pissed that the show got him and Lisbon together. I really was hoping that after his futzing around for (How long - ten years?) that Lisbon would have moved on. ( I know it was six seasons, but the show was pretty cavalier about "six months later" and "2 years later". Plus I seem to remember it started with Jane already having been a consultant for some time.)

On second thought, I'm not sure Jane *would* be in serious trouble in real life. A (probably) rich apolitical non-Muslim white guy with FBI connections? As long has he did not get unsympathetic press, he might well skate with a token punishment - maybe with requirements for therapy (which Jane totally needs).

I loved that Jane said, "It just makes me happy to be able to say that" and seemed to honestly let it go.

I also love that he actually hurt his ankle jumping the fence.

Nice touch, that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have never seen any romantic chemistry between them. I can see him thinking he's in love with her, but...ugh. That could be a shark-jump moment if they get and stay together.

This. I was with Cho when he & Abbot were discussing it and he said that they're like brother and sister. Lisbon's like a slightly impatient older sister who puts up with and sometimes indulges her extremely intelligent/insightful little brother because his insights are valuable enough to make it worth her while. I kept wanting Jane to qualify his "I love you" to but "I'm not IN love with you, but I love you and would be bereft without you."

"I'm not IN love with you, but I love you and would be bereft without you."

It could be a whole lot of that.

Jane has had a singular organizing principle and, even in her scolding ways, Lisbon has been a through-line within that organization. Without his original motivation, I can see him thinking...without being totally conscious of it...that he can't live without her. Though, he did seem sanguine about it after the confession.

His love seems more like the sort people developed within certain arranged marriages.

Cho's cluelessness might not have been so clueless after all, but I did think it was funny that the other guy was all, 'DUH, it's as plain as the nose on your face!'.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Cho and Abbott represent the two main factions of fandom in this episode.

Not the only ones, but the polar ones.

That beig said, I do wonder if Cho is playing Abbott.
