Actually not needing validation right now, but thank you.

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Stephanie, I skimmed. Is Ellie feeling better?

RenFaire sounds awesome.

Yay DJ! I want to go to Prague. Motherland + amazing architecture + beer = happy!juliana.

I am tired!juliana right now, though. I was in Eugene all weekend, visiting relatives. Both of my grandparents are failing (my grandpa quite possibly doesn't remember who I am, though he was very loving while I was there), and my auntie is recovering from a brain tumor that was threatening to take her sight (and did take hearing from one of her ears). Plus, I was running interference between my cousins (who are younger than me) and my grandma. So, it was a good visit, and I'm glad I went, and I just want to crawl into bed or someone's lap and possibly cry, but definitely sleep.

I did have Alaskan Amber beer while I was up there. That was good.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

{{{juliana}}} Sounds like a rough weekend.

Oy - I'm having to write-up my self-evaluation in prepration for my year end reveiw. I hate this part. Especially trying to spin how difficult it has been working with L, into how I have taken this challenge and worked to expand my people skills and blah, blah, blah, corporate keyword, blah.

I'm surprised at how few posts I had to read to catch up. Must be a slow monday. Everyone hungover? Still gronked out? I also revel in the wide range of discussions here. /newbie smerk.

OK, I'm a lil too bouncy for monday morning... er.. noonish. Must have been that OJ! Lucky for my office mate, he's not here.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I'm in shock. All signs are not pointing towards the end of my sister's marriage. I had thought telling your mom, "you never should have let me marry him" was a pretty firm mind-made-up sort of statement but Mom's not so sure. Gah I hate this.

Gah, Laga, I know it sucks to watch someone you love in a bad relationship. Sometimes, I think it just seems scarier to be alone. A fucked up routine is at least a routine. It's easier to know what to expect.

I can't tell you how many times I was sure L was ready to get out before she actually did.

Things get marginally better, and the relationship just seems safer than trying to navigate divorce, new routines, paying whatever housing payments and bills. It can all just be really overwhelming to face, even if they know there are people who are willing to carry them through it.
