Possibly. I forsee some intensive hunting for the proper jacket. I also want the jacket in blood red, which is posing a problem in my current hunting. (Any red, actually. Apparently girl riders only wear white, candy pink, or black leathers. At least in SF, which seems to be more geared to sportbike riders.)

So, every so often I've been freaking out because the guy who came by and flirted with me just abruptly stopped after I expressed some interest. Today he came by and he doesn't work at this location any more, but some where else. But he's here for the next two days doing stuff. He came by, he flirted, but I think he's just flirting for flirting sake and not actual interest. Which, I'm really fine with, and if he comes by and flirts with me tomorrow and the next day I'll lap up the attention. I'm wearing something extra cute tomorrow.
I really want the Mother Of London jacket tommy linked to, but I want it modified to be appropriate as a motorcycle jacket (room in the shoulders, longer sleeves that can be cinched tight, 1 mm or thicker leather). It's already so close....

Not yet. I actually didn't get a chance to ride this weekend - I hope to be able to tonight. Also, my nabe is kind of a fishbowl, and I'll feel like a dork taking pictures there, so I need to get myself and someone else out of said nabe for a bit to get proper pictures.

StY has a red and black bike jacket, one of the good ones. I've never seen an all-red one. They have jackets for women? Why wouldn't they just have them for body type and size? Gender jackets seem...counter-intelligent.

I imagine it's like any other kind of jacket. A men's cut would be boxy, women's more fitted to a lady's curves.
I have a traditional men's cut leather jacket and, while I like it, if I was actually wearing one for riding I'd want it made more to fit my body.

Women's jackets are cut to accommodate Teh Boobs and to work with the fact that our shoulders tend to not be so broad. A closer fit is better, especially when you're dealing with armor.
