We gotta go to the crappy town where I'm the hero!

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Omnis: Being a Bad Nephew does not make you a Bad Person. I've been a Bad Aunt since 1987.

Mostly lurking...

Remind me to never tell you you can't do something.

Yeah. Usually a bad idea.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Owen's ready for his own tiara.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

It's a social networking site based around people posting photos of their outfits. They have a section for gothic. They have a section for steampunk.

!!!!!!!

Clearly, I need to take some pictures ASAP.

I'm literally in the most secure building in San Francisco, probably the entire West Coast.

You're temping near me again, aren't you? We should do lunch this week!

I'm not so fussed on the usual color scheme for it (brown, khaki, brass findings), but the idea of it is so damn cool.

Yeah, but you can do the black, grey, and nickel findings variant. Or I could. Hrm.

I really want the Mother Of London jacket tommy linked to, but I want it modified to be appropriate as a motorcycle jacket (room in the shoulders, longer sleeves that can be cinched tight, 1 mm or thicker leather). It's already so close....

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

j, you can probably find a cycle jacket styled very close, that will have the obligatory armor *that you need if you're going to hurtle around at speeds exceeding 10mph without a metal shell encasing you*. /momrant.

But yes, an authentic bike jacket would have more steampunk cachet than a steampunk fashion-created item. Steampunk is cobbled-together overbuilt function, yes?

Yes. Yes you do. Come, join us!

Yeah, but you can do the black, grey, and nickel findings variant. Or I could. Hrm.

Oooh, you could. I could too, which means I really do need to find a cool set of antique-looking goggles.

I also need a black velvet vest/waistcoat with a mandarin collar, because I have an idea for an outfit that needs one. I have everything else, I just need the vest. I thought I had one, but it did not appear yesterday in the magical closets OR the storage heap room.

ARGH.

Recruiter called me at about 3pm, saying someone from Company X would be calling me at 4pm.

It's 4:45, and no phone call. Grr. I stopped what i was doing to frantically research the company and prep for a phone call, and now I'm afraid to walk away. Perhaps they thought 4pm their time? Which is 7pm my time? Grr. Left message for recruiter.

I'm pretty sure that it was Rio who said that first.
