Lorne: Take care of yourself and ah, make sure fluffy is getting enough love. Gunn: Did he have anything? Fred: No. And who's fluffy? Are you fluffy? Gunn: He called me fluffy? Fred: He said make sure…wait. You don't think he was referring to anything of mine that's fluffy, do you? Because that would just be inappropriate.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Punishingly Intricate

It's 4:45, and no phone call.

argh! Annoying.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

juliana do you have any pictures of you on your bike yet?

Not yet. I actually didn't get a chance to ride this weekend - I hope to be able to tonight. Also, my nabe is kind of a fishbowl, and I'll feel like a dork taking pictures there, so I need to get myself and someone else out of said nabe for a bit to get proper pictures.

I actually have a jacket like this in brown. It's a lovely British biker jacket that Mr. Jane (and for all my bitching about it, here's where it pays off) got for me at a garage sale...for $2.

Enjoy the attention, askye!

He came by, he flirted, but I think he's just flirting for flirting sake and not actual interest.

feh. You know, I was just wondering what had happened to that guy.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

StY has a red and black bike jacket, one of the good ones. I've never seen an all-red one. They have jackets for women? Why wouldn't they just have them for body type and size? Gender jackets seem...counter-intelligent.

Come visit and I will let him take you shopping. Promise me you won't let him buy this "great couch" or an "awesome recliner" and he's all yours.

I have just made an awesome design for an invitation to a work event. Now that I need to fill it in? I cannot remember what the goddamned thing is about.

The girl who's running the show is out today, so I guess it's internets and phones for me until 6.

I imagine it's like any other kind of jacket. A men's cut would be boxy, women's more fitted to a lady's curves.

I have a traditional men's cut leather jacket and, while I like it, if I was actually wearing one for riding I'd want it made more to fit my body.

Women's jackets are cut to accommodate Teh Boobs and to work with the fact that our shoulders tend to not be so broad. A closer fit is better, especially when you're dealing with armor.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Y'know, when I first started at my last company, the new individual-pod coffee maker was Big News.

The big plus about this job (where I used to temp frequently back in my temping days) is that they have a subsidized cafeteria.

If my work had free coffee, it would save me a negligible amount. If it had free fancy coffee, it would save about $20 per week (if I had fancy coffee everyday, which I don't, because I'm cheap, but would like to). If I were gone two weeks for vacation (or whatever), that would be $1000, which is not bad. And a subsidized cafeteria would not only save money, but it would make my mornings at home much more pleasant.

am I a bad person? ...she's going to cancel the visit. I did a small happy dance. I'm such a bad nephew!!!

You're not a bad person, omnis, but clearly your aunt is not nearly as wonderful as mine, or at least as those of mine who would come visit. Mine would stay with me, and expect me to come up with entertainment, but would be so laid back and helpful and fun and fantastic that it would be well worth it. So, don't feel bad about yourself. It's all your aunt's fault!

Hec, are you temping in the mint?

Oh, a subsidized cafeteria is totally something to brag about!! "coffee in the breakroom" is probably not, though. :)

SFistas--"Foster City", where it be at relative to Teh Cool Stuff? Have a phone interview with a company there tomorrow.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Coffee would not make a difference. It is a good thing to have around.
