"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Apparently a static cat is better than a static dog, but a dog is motion is better than a cat in motion.

I think the difference is accounted for almost entirely by the bulldog who skateboards.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yeah, good point. That and the narcoleptic puppy.

Actually on the second Puppy Bowl I thought the kitten halftime was better. But they stopped dropping crap on their heads this year, so the kittens were much less festive.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

so the kittens were much less festive

I'm hoping this wasn't where you got the tinsel idea.

Huh. There's more than one famous internet narcoleptic puppy: [link]

This one has it worse. It starts out funny like any narcoleptic puppy video should, but just gets kinda' sad.

Tinsel enemas for everyone! It'll put a shine in your ass and a gleam in your eye!

Does toe-tapping work for anonymous public bathroom stall tinsel enemas?

If you know morse code and have agile feet.

That puppy almost made me cry. Damn, depressing.

A tag waiting to happen.

Swouncing

You guys, thank you for the birthday wishes! I've actually threadsucked and read each and every one of them (see what you made me do? I can't remember when was the last time I did that for Natter). It was so much fun.

Also, and not just in honor of her new job, even though it gives me an opportunity to congratulate her, a mini-meara:

is it wrong for a Gentile to want to know her Jewish b'date? No? General date is June 14, 1969.

javachik, why would it be wrong? Your Jewish birthday is the 28 of the month Sivan.

How late does it occur on the Western calendar? That is, when it moves around, would it ever move around enough to land on Emmett (9/23) or Matilda's (9/26) birthday?

Oh, you asked exactly in the right time! My very next birthday falls on Emmett's! It's a bit silly, how pleased I am about this.

Also, speaking of birthdays, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is Lyra Jane's birthday. I didn't see posts from her in forever, but I hope the well-wishes find their way to her, somehow.

Also, in writing "today" I mean the today of here, and the general date, of course. Even though it's not today yet in several timezones, like the board's. Those timezones things are confusing even without throwing in the other calendars and the-day-starts-from-the-evening-before-or-in-midnight and so forth. Hmm.
