ita, I can see it, but, very oddly, only if I close my left eye. With both eyes, or with the left but not the right, it's just the young woman.
That worked for me too! But only if I tilted my head a bit to the left. CRAZY!
The best I have to far is probably pathological compulsion. But I think there is a word that my correspondent is looking for.
Yesterday I locked myself out of my office with no keys, no money, and no phone.
So I tried to break in. I scaled a wall, jumped a fence, fell on my ass, beaned my head on a planter, tried to pick a lock with a hairpin, and then I interrupted my boss' pool party to be rescued.
I am my own episode of I Love Lucy.
It's a term for a kind of compulsion or tendency that a person has to repeat the same patterns in their lives, like seeking out the same relationships or whatnot, usually with a negative connotation.

Hmm. Now I feel I should learn to pick locks.
You okay, paperdol?
I'm banged up, but mostly I'm suffering bruised ego.
The best I have to far is probably pathological compulsion.
I think that probably is the best term. The behavior wasn't really described as obsessive, but I think pathological could have a case made for it.
Holy butt, Jilli!
We can say we knew you when.
Hmm. Now I feel I should learn to pick locks.
Hmm. Corsets. Mad computer skillz. Friends all over the world. Krav. Pole-dancing. Lock-picking.
Does anyone else feel like perhaps ita is working on an "Alias"-based reality show or something?
