Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

It's a term for a kind of compulsion or tendency that a person has to repeat the same patterns in their lives, like seeking out the same relationships or whatnot, usually with a negative connotation.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I'm banged up, but mostly I'm suffering bruised ego.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

The best I have to far is probably pathological compulsion.

I think that probably is the best term. The behavior wasn't really described as obsessive, but I think pathological could have a case made for it.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Yay, Jilli!!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Sweet, Jilli!

OMG, I just got the actual confirmation of Very Good News Indeed at work. I've been 90% sure about it for a week or so, but still scared it would fall through somehow. Nope. I don't know if I can do any more work today.
