Good god. How does a bridge like that just fucking fall down? I hope there were no casualties, but that seems horribly unlikely. The photos are frightening.

That's what I'm wondering. There were construction crews working on the bridge before it collapsed, but they were just resurfacing it, so that shouldn't affect its structural integrity.
This will probably go down in history as a major engineering fuckup....
