Well, I'm proposing reopening it tomorrow, so I hope someone is around to deal with it. Feel free not to vote, Hec.
Feel free not to vote, Hec.
I'm gonna vote! I'm just votin' No.

No no no no no no no no.
Phew. That was good.
What's the rush, connie? The fall season doesn't start for a month.
not connie, but it seemed like she was already making a fairly large concession to put off the vote on her proposal until now. i'm not sure which way I'll vote but I can see why she might not want to put off her proposal any longer.

And speculation will be starting, and it just seemed a unique change of pace to have something ready to go when the need for it (for several of us) arises.
I'd rather not be on the mid-season break before the poll information is analyzed and re-analzyed and mulled and kerfuffled to the point where various people decide it's not a stake to the heart of the community to consider a TV thread.
If this loses, so be it. But something will be decided.
The ads are starting, and the time agreed to take a break ends tomorrow. We can have the "where do we go from here" (with music!) discussion overlap. The more general conversations that will take place when the poll is over will likely extend for some time.
What Laura said.
But something will be decided. It's why we vote.
We already had four days of discussion when Connie agreed to postpone the vote. So does that mean we go straight to the voting tomorrow? Since the postponement was "extra-constitutional" (i.e. our voted-upon rules don't allow for it), we're in uncharted waters. Personally, I think there's been quite enough discussion and we should go straight to the vote, but what do others think?
