From Allyson's post - Maybe Jon or Plei can open a thread just for ita for a little while. Without the debate and preferential voting, though I know ita would have enjoyed that.

Bureaucracy 4: Like Job. No, really, just like Job
A thread to discuss naming threads, board policy, new thread suggestions, and anything else that has to do with board administration and maintenance. Guaranteed to include lively debate and polls. Natter discouraged, but not deleted.

Stompy Emerita: ita, DXMachina
I think that's a good idea.
A good place for remembrances when we're ready.
A place to gather them together in the place that she built. That she hand-stitched.
Please do this.
Yes, please.
Will do.
"ita's thread" and done
So I made this post back in 2002.

Maybe we should discuss who's got keys to the engine room to keep this ship afloat.
Maybe we should discuss who's got keys to the engine room to keep this ship afloat.
I was thinking about this just today -- mostly from the code side, as it seems like the administrative side of things (domain/hosting renewals and such) is pretty well handled. But the code should live somewhere that isn't just in the dreamhost account and ita's personal machines, and several people should have access to that. Even if we don't plan any feature changes, in case of security needs, upgrades, that kind of thing.
I was wondering about this too.
So-
a) are there people who have the knowledge to do so?
b) Are those people able to do that
c) Can we get the code from the dreamhost account to do so, or do we need to somehow get that from ita's personal machines.
