I need the cable landscape to have either White Collar or Leverage on at all times.
No kidding.
Oh, yeah, that little smile was totally a con smile.
I'm feeling like there was some foreshadowing with Peter, but I can't put my finger on it right now. Something about not trusting the con man.
There was lots of the little boy and the rattlesnake story framing. Do you guys know that one? You knew what I was when you picked me up.
Peter knew what Neal was when he let him enter his life and trust. Neal knew what Peter was when he joined up. Mozzie knew what the Feds where when he was willing to work with them. Sarah knew what Neal was when she let him get her heart. Alex knew what she was in for when she pursued the box/ship.
And yet.

Yes, I like that story. Very apt.
And yet.
And yet. We are always surprised anyway, aren't we?
But so far, Peter has been the Suit with the stretchiest behaviours (but unwavering moral code) and Neal, up until recently misled but didn't flat out lie to a simple question. I'll be sad if that's a) no longer true or b) Peter stops believing it.
Did anyone watch the Southland season premiere? I really liked it. I liked how they managed to play two different addiction storylines and keep them different, without actually apologising for either guy. Both of them fucked up, although the chronic pain slide into meds abuse is something I think about quite a bit--I don't know if you even have to have an addictive personality to lose control with that.
I used to be doped up every day, so much I couldn't see straight (I was going to go to the optician, but my GP told me to stop taking the morphine instead). I was lucky that I came off everything really easily. So Cooper has a lot of my sympathy, even as he's being a dangerous dick, and I was glad he took pride with him into the hospital. And great that his partner finally snapped and pushed him to take the step.
I like that Lydia got to keep going with Rodrigo. I might tentatively have shipped her with her partner, so this is decent.
And great to see Sammy back on the streets.
Not sure how I'm feeling about Lights Out right now. He's not precisely a magical Negro, more a magical Negro cult leader. When your trainer has to pacify your children when he leaves, and give them totems and hugs just because you fired him, it's a bit much.
I like watch Holt and Pablo work. Still reeling that Pablo is Lief's brother.
I can't believe that Peter would think that Neal would lie to him, that he forgot that there were two other con artists involved. Remember that Alex was the one who described the building to them, perhaps she left out a key detail or two so that she could get there first.
TNT announced summer premiere dates - Leverage doesn't premiere until June 26th. I bet we're going from no conmen to a plethera of conmen.
TNT premiere dates.
HawthoRNe is still on? Also, it's spelt stupidly.
I love Breckin Meyer.
I can't believe they credit Malcolm Macdowell as Entourage.
And those are my random TNT non-WHERE IS LEVERAGE??? thoughts.
Oh, I need conmen. Come back, Leverage!
I just watched the first disk of S1 of Justified. Hey, this is a good show, y'all.
Wait till you get to S2, Cass.
We just put on last night's episode, and god, I love Boyd so much. He's crazy and wrong and dangerous, but I can't help it. So glad they didn't kill him off.
