Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I just watched the first disk of S1 of Justified. Hey, this is a good show, y'all.

Because books.

Wait till you get to S2, Cass.

We just put on last night's episode, and god, I love Boyd so much. He's crazy and wrong and dangerous, but I can't help it. So glad they didn't kill him off.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Raylan edged Boyd out with that scene outside of the motel door.

Re: Justified -- I fear for Loretta. I was squirming in discomfort all through the pedophile episode, and I'm practically climbing the walls every time Cougar or Dickie get anywhere near her. I don't think they'd necessarily go after her in a sexual manner, but I do think they've shown a callous disregard for her safety and Cougar in particular looked as though he was perfectly willing to lash out violently. She is remarkably self-possessed, but so young and vulnerable. Mags seems to like her, but that's small protection when Mags will bludgeon her own son.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I love how the show sort of keeps Mags in reserve and then deploys her like a weapon.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I'm scared of her and I know she's fictional.

I'm so glad Raylan gave Loretta his number. Raylan knows just how much trouble she's in.

Because books.

Mags is a fantastic character. Terrifying and fantastic.

Cougar in particular looked as though he was perfectly willing to lash out violently

Absolutely. But it's Coover, just FYI.

I had completely forgotten it was Jim Beaver's episode, and it was a little disappointing he and Timothy Olyphant didn't have any scenes together, since they worked together on Deadwood.

I'm so glad Raylan gave Loretta his number.

I watched that scene twice because I wasn't sure if he gave her a card, or if he actually gave her a phone. Either way I'm glad he gave her some sort of lifeline.

But it's Coover, just FYI.

Ah, thanks for the correction.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Ahh, he was the security guard, yes? I was going to look that up.

That actress who plays Loretta is amazing. She went from brazen and self-possessed to a little lost kid in a split second. And the character is poised on a knife's edge... she could grow up to be another Mags very easily.
