Finally watched Rizzoli & Isles. I like it. The characters are engaging and feel real. I love that Rizzoli didn't need saving. Also like that they wear gloves AND booties at crime scenes and they have to sign in with an officer before they go in.
But my POS Comcast DVR only recorded half of it. Poo on you, Comcast. I bought a season pass on Amazon and I don't need you anyway! So there.
Leverage:
ISTG, I better not hear that pronunciation of "Worcester" in this episode again, because that one made my ears bleed.
The girl teaching Eliot to play Christian's song made me crack up from the meta. This is great.
I'm blaming it on unaware Americans. You cringe and you smile weakly.
In last night's Leverage, was the fact that John Schneider's character planned to steal a song that had already been performed publicly by someone else who had gotten enough attention from the performance to have a bunch of fans just a really big plot hole, or did I miss something?
No, I thought that too. I mean, it was the same bar, enough people to have gotten Eliot rabid Twitter fans....not very logical.
Yeah, that didn't make much sense. I wasn't a huge fan of the episode, honestly, as much as I love Alona Tal. It seemed too broad and silly for a lot of it, and it was clearly written just for Christian Kane to sing a song (and they basically had the same scene of "Ooh, look, just like Hodge/Kane, Hardison/Eliot can actually play the violin/sing"). I don't know, the whole episode felt a little too over-the-top and schmaltzy.
Yeah, it wasn't very FUN.
Ask John!
It wasn't one of my favourites, but I was half dead watching it. But normally character moments stick with me, even if the nuances fall through the cracks. Not that much this time.
