Yeah, this ep left me feeling kind of meh. I felt it was one of the weakest episodes from a writing standpoint. The only reason they brought Glenn back was to ultimately give Betty the one confidante who might have a prayer of understanding. The show's usually more subtle with things like that-- although I will admit to a pang when she confided that the kids were wondering what was suddenly making them more special since Don was taking them out to dinners and such.
And maybe I was just tired, but Pete and Peggy's conversation seemed really bizarre and again, like the only point of it was for Peggy to say, "It's hard for everyone, Pete." I'll have to go back and rewatch.
Kinsey's a pretentious ass. Nothing new there.
And Roger really is a clueless dolt. I get this uneasy feeling that they're setting Joan and Don up for something.

I don't get that feeling from Joan and Don. What I do get is that Joan is going to experience greater tension between work and private life and I think Don might factor into that somewhat.
Peggy accidentally fell into it with Don, maybe Joan will too if she works for him long enough.
Oh, I felt like this ep was disjointed - like they cut some scenes from other episodes and kind of tossed them in here. I am not sure this makes a lot of sense, but that's the feeling I got.
