When a professional critic says that she wants to marry the show, you know that it ought to be good.
I've already dumped Burn Notice from my DVR.

To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])

I've already dumped Burn Notice from my DVR.
I've set the Tivo for the Glenn Close one - hadn't heard about Mad Men, except I somehow though it had come up here, and not totally positively? Who's in it? Now I want to threadsearch and see if I made that up.
Mad Men is great -- totally a must-watch.
If I may be permitted a tiny bit of pimpage...
I have the pilot for Damages in the living room, but haven't had any time to watch it yet.
I have to check my dvr when I get home to see if Mad Men is still set to record. I had to dump something to make sure it and Burn Notice both recorded but I can't remember what and I don't think it took.
When is Damages going to be on?
And who is watching Murphy's Law?
Burn Notice has multiple repeats on USA.
I was kind of meh on Burn Notice anyway, and now that there's another show for me to watch, it's time for me to dump it. The fact that Mad Men is in the same timeslot isn't the main reason.
It feels like I'm watching more new TV this summer than I do during the regular season. Every week, there's some new series debuting.
Is it just me or is there more cable stuff this year?
I agree - there definitely seems to be more this summer.
Is Damages on at the same time as Burn Notice and Mad Men?
Is it just me or is there more cable stuff this year?
Not just you. Or at least there's more cable stuff I want to watch. I'm currently DVRing at least one show a week night, usually more (and a bunch on Sundays), not counting TDS and TCR.
Between the reality shows I'm watching and the new cable stuff, I've got 4-5 hours of DVRing a night. And that doesn't include all of the shows I've dropped. I think Monday nights are the craziest. Plus, on top of all the new stuff, I've been watching The X-Files from the beginning on TNT, which is like another 8 or so hours a week.
Good thing I'm unemployed. I'd never be able to keep up otherwise.
