I never saw the river/stream. I feel oddly let down by that.
When I stayed there, I had a beach view. (Which coincidentally was also an airport view.) I never did get down to see it close up but I was vastly entertained by the mere idea. It's just so...VEGAS.

Did you watch the smackdown? Season 1 totally shows why they're better. They are just more professional and more mature than season 2. Even down to being able to squash Marcel w/o literally squashing him or attempting to shave his head. Go Harold! I love how symmetric the challenges were with the person from season 1 matched head to head with the right person from season 2. The two most likely to melt-down, the two most eccentric, the two who won, the fan favorite vs. the runner-up. And I think that season 2 was just lucky that Elia was on -- otherwise they would have lost every single course. And speaking of hair (from upthread): what about Elia's?
