Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Don't come here. It's hot.

On the plus side, it's dunk-a-librarian day.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Don't come here. It's hot.

I bet! Given it's 80 here.

Anyway, as much as I love James Taylor, today I am NOT going to Carolina in my mind.

I am aggravated with the people I work with. I'm having to do way too much handholding, and it's making me nuts.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

My galleys were lost in a FedEx black hole. And they're due back on Friday.

I got the PDF, and cried in happiness. It's the most beautiful thing.

In bad news, Ruby really loves Married Guy.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Cats frequently gravitate to the most inappropriate person.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Cats have no judgment. They don't do colour readily, so red flags are hard for them to spot.

Is there a drink that's espresso and chocolate? I think I could love that.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

So I signed up a few weeks ago to test recipes for Cook's Illustrated. They do have a big warning disclaimer that most of the recipes will be out of season, but I wasn't expecting my FIRST one to be a Thanksgiving turkey...in June...

And, naturally, they want it tested and the survey sent back by June 11. Which is my due date. HA.

I want to test recipes for them! Although I am reliably unreliable.

But not pregnant, so that might count for something.

Why is this only $995? Someone please give me 22 days paid vacation, stat.

Cafe mocha? Or did you mean without milk?

I want to test recipes for them!

Here you go.
