I'm sorry. You were going to ask me to choose, right? Did you want to finish?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So I signed up a few weeks ago to test recipes for Cook's Illustrated.

That's so cool!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Or did you mean without milk?

Yup. At best a macchiato with chocolate.

Dude! Totally signed up.

Still want to go to Central America something awful.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Jumping in to ask if folks have been following the spelling bee today? Here's the written test: [link] and here's a reporter who's live blogging: [link]

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Ooh! That's one I forgot to change over when my email changed. I've gotten some really good recipes out of that. Plus fun!

Central America

It's very cheap once you get there! The mosquitoes in the Guatemalan jungle, unfortunately, may be my most enduring memory. Fortunately, we kept one of our best travel diaries on that trip, so I can refresh my recollection of some of the better things.

There was a super cute story about a boy from Baltimore who is competing there in the Sun today. First representative from a B'more school in 25 years.

Hah, I was going to mention that article. I think the last bit was hilarious : [link]

Fellow Friends sixth-grader Spencer Brock cheered his classmate with a sign he drew on cardboard: David Rox!
"It's kind of a joke," he said. "I'm not really that bad of a speller."

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Dude, I *cannot* stop reading the comments on the LJ news post where people are reacting to the Poorly Planned Paedophilia Purge. It's like a train wreck that ate itself and then burst into flame.

I'm so glad I don't read LJ from work. Or I'd get nothing done but reading that purge stuff. And so soon after fanlib and the MJ statue and the tentacle rape cover!

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Yeah, I'm on page 14. Of 22.
