Mittleschmertz!!
I love when there's a german word for something. OH! I've been meaning to ask this forever: Does anyone here speak German? I somehow have German bath gel, and it says it's "der neue bade-spass." Babelfish tells me spass is passport, but there's got to be something else going on there, right?
der neue bade should be the new bath
The new passport to bathing, I think.
Huh. I mean, I guess so.
The best part about the gel (badegel!) is it's also mit glimmer-optik!
It might be "the new bath fun."
nah, "Spass" (or "Spaß") is related to fun - I've generally heard it more in the sense of a joke, but it looks there are meanings that are closer to simple fun, having fun, enjoyment, and so on. [link] is my favorite online German dictionary when it comes to shades of fairly colloquial speech, but I can't link directly to a search...
(x-post because I was being all wordy while Ginger said it better anyway)
(and while I'm eta'ing, I want glimmer-optik!)
In Germany passports are fun.
Ah -- fun makes more sense. I was thinking maybe there was something -- I can't think of the word, but like colloquial or not-quite-literal -- with the "passport" thing.
It is the new fun in my bath, with the glitter and all!
Oh, right, verbs.
Glimmer-optik uber alles.
