St. Louis Cardinals reliever Josh Hancock was killed in an auto accident Saturday night in St. Louis, the second tragedy involving a Cardinals pitcher in five years.
The Cubs-Cardinals game on Sunday night in Busch Stadium was postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date.
A vehicle driven by Hancock apparently struck a truck that was assisting a disabled vehicle, team spokesman Brian Bartow said.

Marilee Jones, the dean of admissions at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, became well known for urging stressed-out students competing for elite colleges to calm down and stop trying to be perfect. Yesterday she admitted that she had fabricated her own educational credentials, and resigned after nearly three decades at M.I.T. Officials of the institute said she did not have even an undergraduate degree.
Not only is it fair -- I know I'd be fairly annoyed just to have another person right there at my elbow while I'm trying to do something.
