Oh, wow. This place looks great. Oh, I feel like a witch in a magic shop.

I'm getting the pig!

Printers come to my house to die. I picked up a used one on craigslist a few years back. I saw that it worked at the seller's house. Didn't work at mine.... but it was cheap, so I didn't really worry about it much. I bought a brand new one a month or so later. It worked for about three months and then it died. One of The Aunts gave me a printer just this last year. She wanted a new one so she gave me her old one. It worked perfectly at her house. It worked *maybe* all of five times at my house.

It's sad, really. The poor printers never even had a chance at a happy printing life in my home.

Morning, all. We're supposed to reach high 80s today. I guess I should think about climbing up on the roof relatively soon to hook up the evap. cooler.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Nicole, Slayer of Printers!

I actually think I could print stuff out at the storefront accountant's down the street, so I'm still on the fence about going into the office. The real problem is, I have a 6pm flight, and it would take 15 minutes to get to the airport from my house versus say an hour from my office. Eh.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Nicole! Can you get on IM for a minute?

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

At least you only have to print it out of the kiosk when you check in. Air travel is so much easier with machines rather than people.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Pot, meet kettle.

You're evidently unaware of my history.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Quiet day here. I need to run a few errands, but otherwise today will be spent watching tapes/DVDs and messing about on the computer.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Story Time!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm now sleepy and also hungry. These are not compatible conditions.

Sate yourself in reverse order. I find it works best that way.

Story Time!

You just keep holding your breath on that one. It won't hurt a bit, I promise.

Sleep with lidocaine patches has eased the immediate shoulder pain, although my neck is pissy. Hopefully it will stave off a relapse long enough for me to get something done today besides pretend to teach.

Yeah, I'm sitting (slounging) here thinking about getting up to get something to eat. But yet not getting up.

OMG why am I so whiny today??
