I look more rad than Lutheranism

but maybe IC starts in the pre-Tim-Drake-quits chunk of time,

But Tim's dad knows he's Robin, which doesn't work, because he quit as soon as his dad found out. So maybe he's Robin *again,* and poor Steph got Jason Todded?

I thought there was a tiny bit of time that passed after Tim's dad found out, but before he whipped out a gun on Bruce?

And Steph getting Jason-Todded ALSO doesn't work with current DC continuity.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Also picked up The Pulse #4, which everyone should be reading.

New Pulse ? Awesome! I'm totally forsaking food until I hit the comic book store.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

Well, maybe she's GOING to get Jason Todded, and all the IC stuff hasn't happened yet in relation to current Bat-events?

Wait. Why am I trying to make sense of comic book time? Better minds than mine have been broken in the attempt.

Oh! I really like Wally and Kyle being included, and the way Ollie said the reminded him of Barry and Hal. That was neat.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What stuff, CaBil? All I see is speculation.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Victor? Anyone? About this white Firestorm thing -- when did he last exist? The commenter doesn't mention that.

OK. But I gotta white font, because it's a bit spoilery. Not too bad, as I don't know the details, but a wee bit none the less.

Ronnie Raymond is currently Firestorm in JLA and Identity Crisis. HOWEVER, the JLA are supposed to confront the new Firestorm in FS #6 or so, which will both reveal Ronnie's fate and will be an Identity Crisis crossover.

So--short answer--the Firestorm comic is taking place a bit later than JLA and IC.

But Tim's dad knows he's Robin, which doesn't work, because he quit as soon as his dad found out. So maybe he's Robin *again,* and poor Steph got Jason Todded?

Possible, but the general consensus is that IC just had the broad strokes of the plan to work with, and everyone on that side thought there's be a gap between Jack Drake finding out about Tim and Robin quitting. So it's probably an honest goof.

Thanks, Victor. Are you caught up with Firestorm now?

Mostly. Seemed to have missed #2, but I think #3 caught me up to speed. What was your question again?

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

Firestorm

Was he the one who could, uh, do anything? Even more powerful than Superman?
