It does happen to everyone. No, really. No need to be self-conscious.

Natter will be summarily deleted.
I actually need to confess now to Jon B.
I promised to tape
Angels in America
for you, but I only caught the first half. I suck mightly, for I failed in my very first attempt to be a tape fairy. I'm not sure if or when they will be running the last three hours again, but I'll be keeping an eye out to see if I can catch it. Either way, you may want to see if you can get an AiA tape from soemone else.
Got it. I'll send it Saturday.
I think both part is AiA are still sitting on my Tivo, I'll check when I get home. I hope they are as I've not gotten to watch them yet.

Shit, I thought I told you. Ellen taped it for me, so I'm all set. Thanks anyway, and sorry for making you worry needlessly.

Whew.
No worries, Jon. Actually, as other people had made noise about taping it as well, I wasn't worried that much. I figured somebody had it covered.
I've got a full set I can dub for anyone in need as well, though I imagine if Drew is taping off a Tivo recording that would be much better quality.
ETA: Beverly, the QEftSG tapes you sent me arrived! So cool - I've only watched the one with the marine guy and the one with Butch so far, but Babara Eden's Jeannie character couldn't have made a more shocking transformation of the latter.
Did anyone tape Joan of Arcadia Friday night? For the first time in about a year, a home health aide taking care of my mother agreed to work late and Andy and I actually got to go to a party. In the excitement we completely forgot to tape Joan. Television without pity is saying it's the best episode of the season, so I am grinding my teeth.
Thanks so much
Butch was the first-aired episode, Matt, and engendered the never-dying, ever-useful line, "You put a living room where the crack den used to be!" I fell hard for Thom in that ep, and he's remained my favorite. He works so hard and does such good work, reading tSG and his life like an open book and tailoring his own stuff and new stuff to the way he lives. Not as cute as Kyan or Jai, nor perhaps as funny as Ted or Carson. But he gets all my love for what he does with a couple of plants and an uplight--
--no, that's another network.
If anyone would like Buffy S3 tapes -- taped off of FX, when they first aired on FX (there were fewer cuts in the first airing) -- e-mail me at my profile addy, and they're yours.
