I already have the season 1 and 2 dvds so am thinking that giving away my tapes of season 1 and 2 (taped off of FX by the Lovely Rio) would be a very good idea.

Oh, I can make a similar offer -- I have *two* sets of S2. One is taped off of FX from the first time through (which I *think* has fewer cuts than FX makes now), and the other is taped off of the WB when they first aired.
The quality of the FX tapes is excellent, and the WB tapes are about a 7 out of 10.

Hello, all! I'm looking for a copy of "Our Mrs. Reynolds", the only Firefly ep I haven't seen (Grr! Argh!) and don't have on tape. I live in the Chicago area and I'm willing to travel to your home/office/brothel to either pick up a dub, or borrow a tape that I can dub and return to you in an orderly fashion.
In exchange, I can dub any of the eps I have if you're short a few - I tape in SLP, so quality might not be terrific, but they should be watchable. My brother-in-law has a dubbing setup and said I can use it, but I don't know if I can provide a regular dubing service after this.

Can you wait a week, Victor (and Cabil!)? It does look like my retroactive payraise should be showing up in next week's check, and I was planning to buy a new VCR with some of it (my current one is slowly dying). If so, I'll dub some tapes for both of you (and anyone else who wants one--let me know!).

Hi. I delurked a while ago, but don't generally post very much...but now I find I must fall on the kindness of the buffistas and ask, please please please, is there anyone who can send me a tape of "Serenity"?
I live in Yellowknife (way northern Canada), but went home to New Brunswick for the holidays. I set my VCR, I said the VCR prayer, my parents don't get fox...I came home and found that the VCR worked, but for some unknown reason Global (which airs Firefly) decided not to bother airing Serenity. Waaaaaahhhhh. And it looks like they're not going to be airing any more episodes either.
