To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Hey, CaBil--if you're still needing a copy of A Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie, the VCR fairies were good to me last week and actually recorded it for me! Let me know at my profile addy if you want to borrow it (I don't have dubbing capabilities, unfortunately).

I don't know about Cabil, but I've been begging for a copy and would love you forever if you can manage a spare. (:

Can you wait a week, Victor (and Cabil!)? It does look like my retroactive payraise should be showing up in next week's check, and I was planning to buy a new VCR with some of it (my current one is slowly dying). If so, I'll dub some tapes for both of you (and anyone else who wants one--let me know!).

Bless you, Kathy. You are a Godess!

My profile addy works, BTW.

I live to serve my Buffistas!

Profile addy? I see your website, but no addy. Just e-mail me at mine (it's at home, not here at work), and I'll get back to you later this week with a timeframe.

Hi. I delurked a while ago, but don't generally post very much...but now I find I must fall on the kindness of the buffistas and ask, please please please, is there anyone who can send me a tape of "Serenity"?

I live in Yellowknife (way northern Canada), but went home to New Brunswick for the holidays. I set my VCR, I said the VCR prayer, my parents don't get fox...I came home and found that the VCR worked, but for some unknown reason Global (which airs Firefly) decided not to bother airing Serenity. Waaaaaahhhhh. And it looks like they're not going to be airing any more episodes either.

My profile addy is good. I'll send you a postcard from a remote Northern location!

Thanks

Our wings are not tired.

At long last, back to work and being productive again. I have 3 envelopes stuffed and addressed with the Profit tapes in them. Headed out tomorrow. And thanks, I loved watching a series I would not have experienced otherwise.

There are 2 places where I had to patch reception glitches. The content of the shows is complete, but during the commercial break there is a little blank spot where I dubbed in the repair.

Heh, I typed budded, I thought I only did that with handwritting.

Thanks for all the fish.

Sophie, Global sucks. They suck hard. If you want a copy (third generation) please drop me a line at my profile address. Also, please call Global and badger them to play Serenity and the remaining two episodes (and to let us know when they are doing so).
