"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

Here is the breakdown of the promo for the next Firefly episode, "Our Mrs. Reynolds":

Narrator: Next Friday....

Open with a shot of Serenity blasting into space.

Cut to a shot of Mal walking around a large cargo bin in the hold.

Mal: "Aaaghh!"

Pan the camera through the hold until it settle on a very pretty red-headed girl (RHG).

Mal (OS): "Who the hell are you?"

Flash cut, then open on RHG lying on a bed in a cabin, presumably naked and covered with a sheet.

Narrator: A spaceship stowaway will heat things up...

Cut to a shot of Mal, looking on (presumably at the RHG).

Pan out to a wide shot, where we see that Mal and the RHG are, in fact, in Mal's cabin. Mal is standing at his doorway, while the RHG sits up in the bed, modestly covering herself with the sheet. She pats the space on the bed beside her.

RHG: "I made the bed warm for you."

Cut to a shot from behind the bed, towards Mal, then cut to a close up of him.

Mal: "It looks, uh, warm."

Cut to a shot of the ship flying through space.

Narrator: ...and turns the crew upside down....

Cut to a high shot down into the cargo bay. We see most of the crew standing and looking at the RHG, as she is standing in front of a large cargo bin. The RHG is opposite the camera placement. Mal is directly opposite her, standing a few feet away. Zoe is coming up on our left. Jayne towers over the RHG, standing to her left right next to her. Simon is behind and to the back of them, having just come down the stairs. Kaylee is standing almost directly opposite of Zoe, while I think Wash luks back way off to our right.

Cut to a close up of Simon, as he looks at the girl, then turns towards the camera.

Cut over to Mal, looking on.

Mal: "I don't know this girl!"

Cut to Jayne, delicately (for him) feeling the material of the girl's grament.

Jayne: "Can I know her?"

Flash cut, then cut to a close up of the RHG talking to Inara.

RHG: "I was curious about you, ever since I saw you."

Reverse angle from behind RHG towards Inara to get a reaction shot.

Cut bakc to an extreme close-up of the RHG.

Flash cut, then we see Inara in a darkened cabin, talking to others.

Inara: "She tried to seduce me too."

Reverse to a shot of the rest of the darkened cabin, where we see Mal, Simon, and Jayne (I think) reacting to Inara's statement.

Cut to a shot of Book, in a lighted cabin, talking to somebody off-screen.

Book: "Well, isn't that....special."

Flash cut, then cut back to the scene in Mal's cabin, only this time the RHG has walked up close to Mal, as if to kiss him. Oh, and she is naked.

Narrator: It's a wild, all-new Firefly...

Cut to a shot of Jayne cocking what looks like a large, autmatic weapon as he stands in the cargo hold. (No way I cannot make that sound porny).

Cut to Inara, wearing something different than in the other scenes, standing on deck and then passing out cold.

Cut to a shot of the RHG talking to Wash in a different part of the ship.

RHG: "Make this night what it should be."

Reverse to see a close up of the RHG, very close to Wash, as she looks up at him.

Reverse back to Wash, who has backed awasy from the RHG. His eyes are almost bugging out.

Wash: "Did it get very hot in here?"

Flash cut, the we see a quick shot of Book peering into a darkened corridor.

Narrator: "...with a twist you will never expect."

Cut to a shot of the RHG running across the screen. She appears to be on the second tier of the cargo bay.

Cut to a shot of some place on the ship with lots of display scopes and such, as the set explodes around Mal and Wash, I believe.

Cut to a reactio shot of Kaylee, as she appears to be startled by something and brings her hand up to her wide-open mouth.

Kaylee: "Huh!:

Cut the Serenity blasting into space.

Narrator: Next Friday on Fox.

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

Here is the promo breakdown for the next Buffy episode, "Same Time, Same Place":

Narrator: Next Tuesday, on an all-new Buffy the Vampire Slayer...

We open on a night shot of Buffy, Xander, and somebody I can't identify running through the woods. Xander is carrying a sword.

Willow's home...

Cut to a shot of Willow entering the back door of the Casa de Summers at night, looking around for anybody.

Cut to a graphic WILLOW'S HOME!

Cut to a shot in someone's living room. In the center of the shot, seated and looking as though she is casting a spell, is someone who resembles, but I can't say for certain, Anya. She is wearing a blue sweater. Back behind her and to her left is Willow, brooding. She is wearing a tan sweater over a white blouse. In the foreground of the shot, seated below "Anya", is another girl with lighter hair than the others. It could be Buffy, it could be Dawn, it could be somebody else.

Cut to a reaction shot, where we see Willow (now seated on achair closer to "Anya") gets up and reacts to...

Cut to a shot where we see (presumably) Willow's feet stomping out a fire that has just arisen on a spell mat or something on the floor.

Narrator: ...just in time to party with the Hannibal Lecter of the demon world.

We see a night shot of a taloned claw making a clasping motion.

Flash cut to a daytime shot of the Summers' house, where Dawn and Buffy are seated at a table, and Xander is standing next to them. Dawn is reading from the laptop on the table.

Xander: "Guuhh!"

Close up of Dawn explaining what's she's discovered.

Dawn: "He eats them."

A graphic EWW... flashes on the screen.

Cut to a different angle on Dawn, explaining further.

Dawn: "Cuts strips of their skin while they're still alive."

Cut over to Buffy, looking disgusted at the news.

Cut to a shot of the demon in question, eating a fresh strip of flesh. This is the demon that can be seen in one of the new shots for the credits.

A graphic flashes on the screen:

EWW!
EWW!
EWW

Cut to a night shot of Buffy, in a cave or something, as she tries to get rid of something slimy from her hands as she makes a disgusted face.

Narrator: A tasteful new Buffy.

Cut to a close up of Spike, talking to someone off camera. The shot is at night and appears to be in front of a crypt.

Spike: "I mean who doesn't like skin."

Narrator: Next Tuesday at 8, 7 Central, on EwwPN. (Transcriber's note: I'm not kidding, that's what the Narrator said!)

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

Here is the promo for the next Firefly episode, "Jaynestown" (I believe written by Ben Edlund):

Narrator: Two weeks from tonight...

We open on a shot of a statue, apparently of Jayne, in the middle of a clearing.

The camera pans down to the gang, looking up at the statue. Present are Kaylee, Mal, Zoe, Wash, and of course, Jayne. All are dressed normally, except Jayne is wearing the goggles and hat that he wored during the train heist.

Mal: "You wanna tell me how come there's a statue of you here, lookin' at me like I owe him somethin'?"

Cut to a close up of Mal, followed by a close up of Jayne, lowering his head, followed by a close up of the statue.

Narrator: ...a secret from Jayne's past makes him a local folk hero.

We see a scene where Jayne, no longer wearing the coat, hat and goggles, scans an open area that is strewn with debris.

Cut to a shot of the Serenity doing a barrel roll and screaming into the atmosphere of a planet.

Cut to an interior shot of Jayne (in gear) as he stands up.

Reverse to a shot of a gathering of people applauding Jayne.

Cut to a close up of an older man, seated on a stage and playing a guitar while singing a song about "a hero"

Cut to a shot of a crowd surrounding Jayne as they celebrate. One partier raises his cup:

Partygoer: "To Jayne!"

The crowd around them raises there cups in a toast:

Crowd: "To Jayne!"

Jayne reacts to this acclaimation:

Jayne: 'To me!"

and he downs his drink.

Cut to a close up of a seated Wash, talking to everyone around him.

Wash: "We gotta go to a crappy town where I"m a hero."

Narrator: But not everyone thinks he's the toast of the town.

Back to a daytime shot, as we see the people gathered in front of the statue and looking at Jayne. A gunshot rings out, and the crowd parts.

Cut to Jayne, standing in front of the statue, reacting to the gunshot.

Cut to a close up of the man wielding the gun. He has a long, dark beard, and the right side of his face is scarred extensively.

Bearded One: "Well hey there Jayne, you inbred dunghead."

Cut to a reaction shot of Jayne. Note that behind him at the edge of the clearing there appear to be four militia types standing around and holding guns as they look on.

Jayne: "YOu here to talk me to death buddy, is that the plan?"

Cut back to the Bearded One, as he raises his shotgun and pumps it, leveling it towards Jayne.

Bearded One: "This is the plan."

The scene fades out as we hear a gunshot.

Narrator: An all-new Firefly in two weeks.

We open on a shot Angel sitting on the steps of the hotel lobby, well-nourished and broody. He is wearing a black, long-sleeve sweater in this interior night shot.

Fade out, then fade in on Angel staring pensively out towards the sea.

Narrator: Next Sunday...

A graphic NEXT SUNDAY flashes on the screen.

Cut to a shot of the vixen-of-the-week, strolling through a restaraunt? In the background, old men seated at tables can be seen staring at her, as she pulls up her long-sleeved black glove. She is barley wearing a red leather top and hot pants?

Weseley: "Only the dead can enter her presence."

Flash cut to a close up of her bare belly as hse walks.

Cut to a close up of her face.

Cut back to her walking though the room. A smirk appears on her face.

Narrator: ...A seduction so intense will arouse the impossible.

Cut to a shot of Angel power kickin some guy in a suit. This is in the lobby of some apartment/hotel/office complex, apparently.

Cut to a shot of Angel karate-chopping a different suited guy in the back, then tossing him around. This looks to be in an office.

Cut to a shot of the VOW throwing a punch, in the same office area. The shot is cut to make it appear that she is fighting Angel, but that might not be the case.

Cut to a shot of Angel reacting to the girl.

Reverse to a shot from behind Angel, as the girl holds a hand out to him.

Cut to s ahot of Angel and the girl playing tonsil hockey.

Fade to black, then cut to a shot of Angel leaning back against a wall. He is seated on the floor and has an amazed look on his face.

Fade to black, then cue the Angel logo.

A long-haired brunette with a "duh" look on her face.

Reverse cut to Xander.

Narrator: But the students have summoned up a problem that they can't handle.

Cut to a shot of people wrapped in bright red robes, holding lit candles and walking in a circle. This may be the library.

Crane up to look down on the circle. We see that the robed ones are circling what appear to be a pile of papers, with some other substance drawn in a circle around it.

A fireball seems to come out of the circle in an effect to cut to the next scene, where we see Buffy in this library turn and look at a horned demon. The demon looks a lot like Skip from Angel, but it is not him (there are differences in the makeup).

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

Here is the breakdown of the promo for the next Angel epsiode, "The House Always Wins" :

Narrator: Angel's back in Vegas...

We open with a shot of Angel cruisnig down the Vegas Strip in the Angelmobile.

Cut to a shot of the "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada" sign, then we see a shot of the Stardust, the Riviera, and Circus Circus.

Cut to an interior scene, where we see Angel, Fred, and Gun standing in a room or hallway or corridor, surrounded by a bunch of people as though they are waiting in line or something. In the foreground is a woman we'll see later. She just looks as though she is waiting to get in. The gang are talking to each other.

Gunn: "You knew the Rat Pack?"

Angel: "I met 'em. "

Quick cut to a closer shot of the gang.

Angel: "Once."

Flash cut to a showgirl who is standing in a hotel room or hallway. She is wearing a pair of fake red horns on her head, as though she is playing a demon or something in a review.

The shot freezes on the woman, and a graphic similar to the Ocean's Eleven advertising campaign kicks in. We see the shot of the girl converted to a black and white photograph played against a red background.

Narrator: The sin....

Big large letters "THE SIN" appear next to the photograph of the girl.

We zoom back into live action on the girl, as she turns towards her right and reacts to something charging her.

Girl in red horns: "Aieee!"

We pan to the right of the girl, and we see that Lorne is attacking her with a liquor or seltzer bottle, bringing it down with a clubbing motion. Lorne is wearing a purple coat with orange trim.

Cut to a different shot of Lorne in the same outfit. This time, he in on stage, holding a microphone. Behind him some scantily-clad showgirls, all wearing fake horns, are parading down a set of steps.

The shot freezes on Lorne, and he gets the Ocean's Eleven treatment. This time, his black and white shot is framed against a blue background.

Narrator The lust...

Big large letters "THE LUST" appear in frame next to Lorne's picture.

We pan back to Lorn'es left to reveal more of the show girls.

Lorne: "Hey! Strut it, girls!"

Cut to a few close ups of the show girls walking across the stage, with a decided emphasis on just their bodies.

Then we cut to my favorite shot. We see an extreme close up of Angel's head, as we see Angel standing ina large room filled with slot machines. Angel has what only can be described as a dopey look on his face.

Angel gets the graphics treatment. His head shot is framed against a green background.

Narrator: The greed...

Large "THE GREED" letters appear next to Angel's mugshot.

Zoom back out to Angel standing in the slot room, as we see that he is staring at something.

Reverse to reveal that he is staring at the wheels of a quarter slot machine. We don't get to see what the slot combination ends up with.

Lorne (VO): "You lose here, you don't get it back."

Fade to a shot of the woman seen earler standing in front of the gang, as she spins the slot machine. The woman looks as though she is going to faint.

Cut to black.

Cut to a shot of Angel clobbering somebody with a right hook.

Cut to a reverse angle of the shot, where we see that Angel is outside an establishment, beating up somebody wearing something similar to a waiter's uniform.

Cut to a third shot, where we see Angel deliver a power kick to another somebody how approached him from behind while he was beating up the first guy. It looks like the second attacker may be a demon of some kind.

Narrator: In a casino where destinies are on the table...

Cut a different scene, an interior, perhaps a parking garage. In the foreground of the shot, we see the fake red horns that the earlier girl was wearing, laying on the concrete floor. We see three pairs of legs running away from the horns (and the camera) towards a door at the end of the hallway. The front pair of legs appears to be one of the showgirls. The pair of legs on the left belong to someone wearing dark green pants and a billowy green coat. The pair of legs on the right belong to somebody wearing black pants (can't tell the material).
