Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yes. For a minute, it seemed like I had no subscriptions -- "Read New" brought me to an empty Message Center. But it got better.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Do you still need more testers? I can do some starting tonight.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You're good to go, Lee.

I got a 404 error (on .net), just trying to see the previous page of posts in Natter.

eta: I also got one when I hit Read new. B.net hates me, doesn't it?

Bookmarking a post of someone you have blocked seems to work well though.

What's the URL, Lee, that gave you the 404?

eta: how is it .org? I even shut down .org, so I wouldn't woh pah people in the wrong site?

The 404 error seems to crop up consistently when I hit read new, but I haven't been able to make it reappear when I hit previous.

I reset my thread subscriptions, and that seems to have gotten rid of the read new problem.

The 404 page does say .org wherever in our universe you come from (except, ironically, .org). I should get on that.

It's the URL pre-that that's my concern. But it looks like subs got frelled, and I suspect it's unrelated to the blocking, and just a database issue.

I'm gonna clear everyone's subs just to be sure.
