I had suggested something similar about a year ago, but board sentiment seemed to be against it.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah. That was probably mostly me, but I've gotten over myself since then. I don't like overt advertising, and we don't seem to really need the cash, and I don't like Amazon, but those are all over-comeable issues.

What is even happening?

What is the character count (and does it include spaces) for single posts, on the board?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

6000 characters, and spaces and hard returns are characters.

Thank you, ita.

All is well that ends in pizza.

We need a spoiler font quote quickedit, something that will let us block quote spoilers other people have put in, so we can respond quickly and clearly.

Maybe a q?

IMHO, of course.

Err, as Jess mentioned in Natter...

s - (lowercase "s"followed by a space at the start of a line) creates spoiler or white font text to the end of the current line.

We've got one.

>We've got one.

Does s work with >?

Apparently not. I think that's what DCJ wants.

No, you have to choose one or the other, like all the quick-edit tags, as quick-edit tags are dependent on the tag being at the start of the line. There's no nesting.

Is it possible to make a quick-edit tag that invokes the html code of an s> combo?

ETA: I'm not saying I think it's necessary or that we should do it, I'm just curious if it's possible.
