Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

OK to use your profile address?

uh-huh

And the name of the list is flyover midwesterners@buffistas.org?

Dammit, I was gonna make a flyover joke! Now I'll have to make a Mayor Dailey joke.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

OK, done. I called it midwest@buffistas.org.

[Edit: I'll post a message in press]

Tom -

both of the sentences start with

To subscribe to the midwest list,

I think you meant one to say "to subscribe to the new york list."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Tommyrot! Hit me up with your experience. Mostly so I know if I need to go comment code.

WF over...

I've had many years of MS-SQL Server SQL. Many more of Access. Some MySQL. So I probably can figure stuff out in the code.

What version of MySQL is the Phoenix board using? Does MySQL support sub-selects yet? All my MySQL books are a few years out-of-date.

My profile addy is good.

BTB, is there a way to search for someone's profile without having to track them down to a post so you can click on their name?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

No, not at present.

In lightbulbs, Rob offered to work on a filter. Is it possible for him to start working on that at the same time Tommy is working on database issues?

Short of cloning ita or giving her more time is there anything we can do to help? Is there anyone else who can work with someone to understand the code?

Just asking questions. Please tell me to piss off if I am making anyone feel pushed or proded. I apologize in advance of having to be asked if I have done so.

edit to say that Michele offered to work with Rob on UI.

I might add in here, that I have always found Dr. Tepper to be a fashionable young woman and she tends to look marvelous. t /suck up.

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

I also volunteered to work with Rob on the filter, since he said people hjad had problems with his UI ideas. I can certainly take some suggestions from folks here and build up some schematics for the coders to work from.
