Tommyrot! Hit me up with your experience. Mostly so I know if I need to go comment code.
WF over...
I've had many years of MS-SQL Server SQL. Many more of Access. Some MySQL. So I probably can figure stuff out in the code.
What version of MySQL is the Phoenix board using? Does MySQL support sub-selects yet? All my MySQL books are a few years out-of-date.
My profile addy is good.
OMG! tommy with SQL skillZ and the volunteering and OMG!
ita, are you doing the happy dance with me?
BTB, is there a way to search for someone's profile without having to track them down to a post so you can click on their name?
In lightbulbs, Rob offered to work on a filter. Is it possible for him to start working on that at the same time Tommy is working on database issues?
Short of cloning ita or giving her more time is there anything we can do to help? Is there anyone else who can work with someone to understand the code?
Just asking questions. Please tell me to piss off if I am making anyone feel pushed or proded. I apologize in advance of having to be asked if I have done so.
edit to say that Michele offered to work with Rob on UI.
I might add in here, that I have always found Dr. Tepper to be a fashionable young woman and she tends to look marvelous.
t /suck up.
I also volunteered to work with Rob on the filter, since he said people hjad had problems with his UI ideas. I can certainly take some suggestions from folks here and build up some schematics for the coders to work from.
MARCIE has already been specced out (and written, more's the pity). It's somewhere in this thread, but I don't have the Nilly to find it.
Rob has all the access he needs to go nuts with it, but Rob -- make sure you duplicate the current live code over to the test environment before you start -- they're not in sync.
Paul and I had some email correspondence with sample html for the UI(but not the back-end code -- sorry ita). I'm sure I've got it on the 'puter at home. I'll look for it this weekend. Until then, Michele, hold back. No need to reinvent the wheel.
