If you set up a list, you don't have to send your e-mail address to Gus (or whoever runs it). Once it's set up, anyone who wants to be on the list just has to subscribe.

Do you have problems, concerns or recommendations about the technical side of the Phoenix? Air them here. Compliments also welcome.
If it's autosubscribe, what's required of the person who maintains it? Just handling the un-subbing?
Thank you again, DX. I think Gus is going to pop in later.

You can choose it to be autosubscribe, or the admin can approve subscriptions (his/her choice), but yeah, there's really not a lot to do.
The position of SQL Volunteer does continue to be open, tommyrot, and you are blessed for volunteering for it.
Msbelle has been coordinating this, but is away for the evening. You could e-mail ita directly as well, I think.
Tom Scola has to set it up. I'm not sure about the exact software he installed, nor the command line workings of it.
Tommyrot! Hit me up with your experience. Mostly so I know if I need to go comment code.
Is someone explicitly taking responsibility for the list? That's all I need to set one up.

I'm confused as to whether Gus or aurelia want to, but if not, I will.
So go ahead, please.
EDIT: Unless you need the name of the person...
OK to use your profile address?
And the name of the list is flyover midwesterners@buffistas.org?
You can have Tom set up the list with you as admin, and then pass it on to Gus or aurelia later if that's what you guys decide. Or you could have multiple admins, although there's really no need.
