Were you using Netscape first, DX? What browser are you using, John?

Do you have problems, concerns or recommendations about the technical side of the Phoenix? Air them here. Compliments also welcome.
Test.
[edit: when I went back, I got the same quote and my test in the box]
I was using Mozilla 1.1 first. The quote changes when I go back and forward, too.
Caching can be controlled by
- your browser
- your proxy
- your network
- your ISP
and all kinds of stuff as well as the server.
ISPs in Australia are big on caching as you might expect.
What's your browser, John? You're on a Mac?
edit: But what about the Phoenix is discouraging caching, that WX didn't do?
Just tried Netscape 4.78, and it does the same thing. So for me, it happens in all three browsers on the PC. I don't have Opera to try.

IE5 on a Mac, and the cache setting is "refresh once per session" as opposed to "always" or "never".
I switched to once per session in Mozilla and Netscape, but it didn't change behavior. Where's the cache setting in IE, I couldn't find it?
Okay, I'm to bed. Work on quirk tomorrow.
Am I crazy, or is this thread the only one that Read New doesn't check?
(Note these are not necessarily two mutually-exclusive things.)
