I never figured out exactly what "Recent" gives you. On WX and TT it was identical to "Last." I think "Recent" should give you the last fifty posts, preferably all at once.

Recent was surely designed in imitation of WX's Recent, which gives you the last page.

What exactly constituted a page on WX depended on your preferences, but I'm not sure what exactly Recent does here.

I sometimes get a page, using Recent, which isn't the last page, because there's still one remaining, but

  1. I don't care, and
  2. that may be because a new post turned up in the meantime?

when you've got an odd number like 1115, just go back to the next-to-last major milestone -- so 1050
