This is not funny. This... this is a morality tale about the evils of sake.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Vortex, wow. A possibility that never occurred to me.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

My wife pondered last night how Sylar always knows how to use his powers instantly, whereas most of the supers take forever to figure out just the one power, and Peter's pretty much floundered all over the place with his abilities.

I think it comes down to his basic ability, which is figuring out how things work. Which means that he's capable of pulling off many much niftier stunts than some of the people whom he took the powers from in the first place.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Well, I think too: sometimes Peter doesn't know when he acquires powers. Which has to be a bit unsettling.

Sylar knows exactly what he is getting much of the time, so he is prepared.

BTW, I thought he was going to melt the scissors that his mother held. I don't know why he didn't. Or use his TK to toss them across the room. Do you think they were going for a "Carrie" reference?

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I would swear that towards the beginning of the series, it was mentioned that one of Sylar's victims was frozen to death. I think it was in a conversation between Matt and the FBI agent. Cause I distinctly remember thinking about him having killed the Iceman, or perhaps Mr. Freeze.

What I wonder is about Sylar's regenerative powers. I mean he has not managed to kill Clair, so how does he keep recovering from big time blows to the head, and being totured almost to death. (Maybe his TK is cushioning the blows). At any rate he has killed a lot more people than we've seen him kill, so he definitely has powers we have not seen.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

The first few Sylar victims we saw were all de-brained and frozen (including Isaac), so yeah, he must have killed someone with freezing powers offscreen before we met him.

What is even happening?

I always feel like I'm missing something. Sometimes, it's just because I forget stuff, but also because I know I haven't read the comics.

He might have been too upset to focus to use his powers.
