While Sylar was at times tiresome when he was with Maya y Alejandro, he's still pretty great with Mohinder, and I'm glad he finally has his damn powers back. I actually didn't like him shooting Maya, not because I didn't want Maya dead, but because it just felt...wrong and brutal, when Sylar generally has more flair. Shooting Maya like that makes him like any other cold-blooded killer.

And Nathan never was dead weight.
I think they kinda turned him into no weight. When I saw him last night, my first thought was, "Nathan! How I've missed your face!"
My second thought was that he needed a haircut.
I dunno, crushing hearing-woman in that garage didn't show me much flair or grace. Fairly brutal, pretty pointless. I AM more interested in him with his power back and I like the socio-lethal aspect of his totally id-driven existence but the writers are going to have to work a bit to make me tingle for him again.
My second thought was that he needed a haircut.
The bumpiness of his hair distracted me, but when he got cleaned up for the press conference, I think I actually sighed out loud.
I was actually a little distracted by how slicked-back his hair was for the press conference. But I am a huge fan of floofy hair.
"Gee, Bad Guy! You have the same virus, guess The Company gave it to you! You're not even torturing me, let me ildly muse for a while and give you lots of valuable information."
In some defense, all the shots of him looking at the surveillance camera made me think he was deliberately stalling any way he could in the hopes that someone would come, rescue him and Molly and kill Sylar. Just like Elle tried. "There is absolutely no need for me to take your blood, but i'm going to act like it is necessary in order to stall." Actually, i was thinking there was some brilliant plan to kill Sylar while taking his blood, but there isn't quite enough smart for that sort of pro-action. But stalling in the hope of being saved? Totally Mo.
Shooting Maya like that makes him like any other cold-blooded killer.
As opposed to bashing a guy's head in or stabbing a twin? Sylar should have died in the Plaza, pure and simple.

Yes, sad but true. I love some Evil Sylar, but this half season he was wasted.
Re: Peter (not) walking through walls -- maybe he hasn't remembered yet that he can do that? I seem to recall that he still doesn't remember all of his accumulated powers yet. Although, huh, he did walk through the wall when he and Adam escaped from the facility, right? So, never mind.
Nathaaaaaaaaaaan! Noooooooooo!

Well, it's definitely a power he doesn't seem used to -- he definitely seems to lose track of what he can do, and favors certain powers over others, probably because they come more reflexively. Moreover, Adam had every reason not to remind him of the ability, because he wanted to be alone with the virus while Peter "kept guard" -- Peter would have moved to stop him if he saw him try to unleash it. So I can handwave a little.

This. It might have spared us the Blunder Twins storyline, and if they ever really needed him back the "President Petrelli" version could have followed Future!Hiro backwards in time and been a great surprise appearance at the end of a cliffhanger.
