Trust my rage

I was surprised that the family took him at face value and didn't ask him some questions or something.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Poor Mrs. Bennet. And poor actress, having to play another round of "shocked, dismayed, and concerned for family's well-being."

Our wings are not tired.

The mini season certainly had its share of issues. Here’s hoping that the writers are able to get back to work in time to get it back on track next year. There is still plenty to love about this show.

Peter Peter Peter. If it weren’t for Mohinder you would be the class idiot. Good thing you have a big brother, had a big brother, better still have a big brother, damn it, to watch over you.

It would have been nice to have spent more time on exploring Bob & Elle’s history instead of, well you know what they could have done without.

Perhaps Sylar could eat Mohinder’s brain. The combination of the science smart, super stupid, and Evil would make an interesting character. Perhaps less frustrating than Mohinder is now.

Mama P, I love you so. Her stone cold heart is a pretty pretty thing. Not so sure I like the stone cold so much in Hiro though. I don’t think Adam will stay entombed for a few hundred years, but damn that was harsh.

Grateful Matt survived to wear his World’s Best Dad apron another day. Must be his, but Mo may have purchased it.

I hated not hating West. But not enough to want him back again.

Mohinder healing Maya was a new level of wrong. The only way this can work for me is for Sylar and/or Mo to die of black eye goo.

Kinda sorry to see Niki go. I prefer her to Monica if one of them has to stay around to keep Micah. Niki was much better with DL around though. Oh well, they didn’t ask me first.

Nathan is Not Dead. I think the virus is destroyed. Not as sure as I am that Nathan is Not Dead.

If Sylar figures out where Adam is he may want to taste his spicy brains.

HRG, unless he caught the Stupid from Mo and Peter he can’t possibly believe any deal he made would keep his family safe. He must have a plan. One where he works with Mama P works for me.

I wonder why Peter just doesn't phase through the safe.

Of all the annoyances in last night's episode, this pissed me off the most. Peter's all, that safe looks too strong for lil' old me to move with my mind. It was Adam who talked him through phasing them both out of their cells. So WTF? Seriously, did this episode's writer (was it Kring?) not see that other episode?

Finding Peter's girlfriend should be easy. He should just take Molly with him to the future, she zings in on the girl, they scoop her up and bring her back, the end.

And NBC says Heroes will be back in 2008. They just don't say whether it will be January or September.

Okay, my quibble about Adam being entombed in a coffin in Japan? Most (if not all) people in Japan are cremated. . . do they even have full-people sized coffins there?

I don't want Nathan to be dead either...love that Adrian, but oy...so far we've had him survive being blown up and fried. If he comes back, his ability will have to be reclassified from flying to 'sacrificial lamb'. The indignity. He doesn't ever get to be a fallen hero...pun intended.

Speaking of indignity, how about West's ignominious departure? "I'm taking my folder and slinking away.' Not exactly going out with a bang.

When that happened, and when Maya got shot, I was forcibly reminded of the Kring article where he mea culpa'ed about the wrong turns this season has taken. I could hear him dusting his hands after each death.

When I told my faux-son about the article, he boggled. "They really listen to the fans?" I replied in the affirmative, until Maya came back to life. Can't win them all, I guess.

Peter's all, that safe looks too strong for lil' old me to move with my mind.

Not to mention, it seemed to take roughly a multiple of 5 times longer than any other plot point. It's not as if they couldn't fill that time with something useful!

I will say though, Nathan's entrance was terrific. Even though I knew it was coming (in fact, while Matt was failing to bend Peter's mind, I was whispering a 'comeonNathancomeonNathan' chant. Nicely framed!

Perhaps she'll get a more horrible death later?

Hopefully. Or, maybe they have some way to redeem the character. I have to say, when she wasn't all trembly and brother-dependent, she wasn't as annoying. Maybe there is hope.

That is a good point about funereal practices in Japan sumi. It's an obvious handwave there. The thing about that scene that really struck me was what looked like hand marks in the freshly turned soil. I flashed on Hiro digging the grave with nothing but his bare hands. Wouldn't matter how long it would take would it. And his rage would be a good motivator. The only thing that would have made it better is if he'd taken a twig and scratched, "Here lies the king bitch of the universe...may he never be free" in the dirt.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Everybody's said pretty much what I was going to say. I thought Hiro's vengence was awe-inspiring, but does it strike anyone else that Hiro's not the one who should be vengeful? I mean, Hiro's kinda the one who put Adam on the dark and stormy path to start with, and it WAS a personal betrayal.

I mean kill the bad guy who's trying to destroy the world by all means, but fate worse than death doesn't seem appropriate for what Adam actually has done to Hiro. Sylar deserves that fate more than Adam does (though he also would be more problematical to leave in that condition if he's got all his powers back).

eta DUH - brain freeze. Adam killed his father. smacks self

I think Mohinder's dumb is contagious.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Could we put Adam and Sylar in the same coffin?

It might get a little crowded, since my assumption was that was Kaito Nakamura's coffin Hiro left him in.

I don’t think Adam will stay entombed for a few hundred years, but damn that was harsh.

That probably depends on whether or not the funeral arrangements included a burial vault as well as a coffin. If not, an unkillable person with even normal strength should eventualy be able to dig himself out, Uma Thurman-style. If so, Adam's stuck for the long haul.

Hey, now that the virus is dust, does that mean Caitlin is trapped in a less apoca-future?

I imagine Caitlin is still stuck in the same place, which is now an alternate future that diverged at the moment Peter destroyed the virus. Hope Peter was good enough in the sack to be worth her exile.
