To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Has anyone stopped to consider the real victim in all this? I'm talking, of course, about the Nissan Rogue -- which has gone from Claire to Derek to now Sylar. It's a good car, but it keeps falling in with worse and worse cars.

Art Crawl!!!

Perhaps we could have an intervention for the Rogue.

The Rogue needs our help, before The Nightmare Man steals it and starts driving it around.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

It was probably bought from the Nightmare Man's car dealership.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Whee! I caught up with this episode while I was cooking dinner, and now I’m taking a few minutes to poke my head in here before getting back to work.

See, Sylar is completely unattractive to me. Neanderthal.
Sarameg is me. I am utterly repulsed by him, in fact, which is odd since I can see, objectively, that he is not unattractive. He’s just…I don’t know. Smarmy. I’ve never been much for the Norman Bates-esque mama-boys.

But seriously, how did he make it to the Mexican badlands becuase that forest did not look like Ole Mexico. And wasn't he all gutted from the skewer in the belly? Doubled over and couldn't hardly move? Now he's fine and it had only been two days according to poor, dead New Jersey dude? That's a far piece for someone who just had eight surgeries. He wasn't even limping anymore.
I have a serious issue with this. There had better be a decent backstory, because I am not buying the “in a jungle but walked to badlands in three days with a major injury” handwave. Nuh and uh. Also, I might have missed this, but how did he kill that guy if his powers aren’t back? And if they are back, why hasn’t he killed the Wonder Twins?

So I guess, from her conversation with Micah, that she knows about his power already?
I didn’t think so, but maybe you’re right. I thought she was just chastising him for stealing cable, but it does make sense the more I think about it.

Poor Matt. But you have to say, it was an awesome reveal. I can't wait to see where that goes!
YES! I’m thrilled with this twist. I totally didn’t see it coming.

I wanna learn more about the elders' powers. Aside from Simone's dad, Linderman, and Bob, do we know what any of the rest of them can actually do? Did we ever find out what Kaito could do? I know we don't know Mama Petrelli's power. Did we know Papa Petrelli's? Do we know Matt's dad's power (other than being the Nightmare Man)? What gives? Enquiring minds want to know.
Yes, yes, yes. Please and thank you.

So, the Latino characters' storyline revolves around making it to America to escape a bad situation they got into through no fault of their own. And the black characters' storyline revolves around trying to escape from poverty.
I agree that there’s some stereotypical storylines going on, but I think it’s unfair to make a blanket statement about the treatment of minority characters in general on the show. Simone and her dad were definitely not in any danger of poverty—and for the record, I’m not entirely convinced we’ve seen the last of Charles, given the whole Peter vision thing—and the Haitian (though lacking a name, which annoys me) is a fascinating character who I think will play a more central role as the season progresses. As for Isaac, his drug problem struck me much more as an artist stereotype than a Latino stereotype, and I, like Victor, was glad to learn that Maya is bilingual and that both characters are literate. Add that to Mohinder, Hiro, Ando, etc., and I think this show does a much better job having a diverse cast who aren’t all about their diversity than most shows out there. Don’t get me wrong—I see the flaws. But still.

Has anyone stopped to consider the real victim in all this? I'm talking, of course, about the Nissan Rogue -- which has gone from Claire to Derek to now Sylar. It's a good car, but it keeps falling in with worse and worse cars.
I t heart Victor.

Sylar killed the car thief with the brick he picked up from the newstand.

I agree - Isaac's drug problem was an annoying artistic stereotype.

Ah ha! Thanks. That scene happened when I was pureeing, so I missed it.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Did the cops recover? OK, I missed that. So Maya has yet to kill anyone on purpose.

Now I want a crossover where Ned from Pushing Daisies gets stalked by the Company.

Okay, so it's early and my brain is not necessarily firing on all cylinders....

Art Crawl!!!

He can follow Sylar around bringing people back to life.

So - the 12 people in the picture: was the guy in the lower rh side Latino looking to you?

I wondered if he wasn't a connection to los gemelos aburridos.
